WHAT HAPPENED
A district consumer commission in Telangana has held Zepto guilty for charging more than the maximum retail price (MRP) for groceries. The commission directed the company to pay Rs 2,000 as compensation to the customer, Rs 5,000 towards litigation expenses and deposit Rs 50,000 in the commission's consumer legal aid account.
