WHAT HAPPENED

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has reported a 21.45% decline in consolidated net profit for Q2 FY27. The decline is attributed to losses from the sale of petrol, diesel, and LPG, which affected marketing margins. Consolidated revenue from operations increased by 29.7% compared to the previous fiscal year. As of September 30, 2026, BPCL's cumulative under recoveries on LPG reached ₹17,334.40 crore.
